Sampler Quilt 2011 - Week 13 - Four Patch

This Four Patch block uses 4 different fabrics, background, accent, plus 2 more complimentary fabrics. A four patch can use any combination from 1 to 4 fabrics.

This is a handy block to use in borders, sashing and cornerstones.

Instructions

• Cut a 3½ inch square from each fabric.
• Sew together as shown in diagram using a ¼ inch seam.
• Press seams to one side.
