Pin Cushion - made with a 4" block and stuffed with left over batting |
Here are a few ideas of how to use a Square Album Four Patch block...
Mini Quilt/Placemat - made with 6 - 4" blocks, 1" inner border and 2" outer border. |
Scrappy style - use honey bun (1-1/2" strip rolls) or jelly rolls (2-1/2" strip rolls) to make a colorful block. |
Watercolor style - choose three different fabric pallets and arrange as a watercolor quilt. |
Fractured/Stripset style - make strip sets that go from light to dark and cut half square triangles and squares from them for a dramatic effect. |
Sampler/Orphan Block Quilt - this one is a great use for all those 3", 6" or 9" blocks you have laying around. |
Happy Quilting
